Volunteer with MAA

You'll be amazed when you see the difference your contribution has made to our work throughout Sub-Saharan Africa!

At Medic-Aid Africa, we have a wide range of volunteer opportunities throughout the United Kingdom or our African projects to suit your interests and any available time you can give us.

You will find that volunteering with us is rewarding and challenging and you'll know that you are helping to make a difference to the lives of people who live in some of the poorest parts of the world.

Our projects care for Africa’s forgotten people; street children, orphans, Internally Displaced People, refugees, victims of rape and sexual violence.

We bring full medical and humanitarian aid to the communities of East Africa, but we also bring Community Support, Mentoring, Peer Education, Social Work, Play & Art Therapy, the list is endless!

We're always happy to hear from people interested in helping us, whether you only have a few hours spare, or are looking for some more regular experience.

No matter what your time or skills are, volunteering can be incredibly rewarding. Even something as simple as helping to spread the word about MAA's work, really can make a difference.

Or, you may wish to volunteer on one of our mission teams. We have a number of projects and as such require people with a variety of skills.

You may be a medic, teacher, pastor or accountant; or you may be a homeworker or be retired.

Whatever your skill, if you’re willing, Medic-Aid Africa can find a project suited to your talents.

Volunteering with MAA can also give you the opportunity to learn new skills or update some of your older ones.

You will get full training for any position you choose and the support of the whole MAA team.

We would love to hear from you if you would like to get involved with fundraising, social media, supporter care, administration, and community, school or church ambassadors.
