Medic-Aid Africa - Medicine Where It Matters

Mass MMR Vaccination needed!
Project Measles...we hear about it every day at the moment. Whilst we're so thankful that clinics are set up across Wales, just consider for a moment in your day the children of North Kivu who haven't had the vaccine and most won't have the... chance to. As part of our Project 1:27 we're sending more than a hundred vaccines so that all children who come to Camp Mercy get the vaccine.

We have measles epidemics in DRC every year because the vast population are not immunised against it, adults and children. Without the vaccine, it is an awful illness to get, and in Africa, measles IS a killer, every day, of every week.

Consider getting behind our campaign; we want one of Medic-Aid Africa's legacies to be that we vaccinate or facilitate the vaccination, of as many people as in North Kivu as possible.

We want to break this cycle of yearly epidemics of this killer illness. The more vaccines we buy the cheaper they are ... kindly consider if you can spare, literally, a couple of pounds/dollars/euros to help save a life.

If you are able to purchase a vaccination, or more than one, please contact us at: INFO@MEDICAIDDRC.ORG

Thanks ♥

REFUGEES FLOOD CAMP MERCY DRC
In recent days you will have seen in the media details about Joseph Kony.
Joseph Kony is the world’s worst war criminal. In 1987 he took over leadership of an existing rebel group and renamed it the Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA).
The LRA has earned a reputation for its cruel and brutal tactics. When Joseph Kony found himself running out of fighters, he started abducting children to be soldiers in his army or “wives” for his officers.
The LRA is encouraged to rape, mutilate, and kill civilians–often with blunt weapons.
The LRA is no longer active in northern Uganda (where it originated) but it continues its campaign of violence in Democratic Republic of Congo, Central African Republic, and South Sudan.
In its 26-year history, the LRA has abducted more than 30,000 children and displaced at least 2.1 million people.
Refugees fleeing this violence have been seeking safety and security at Camp Mercy - we urgently need YOUR help to continue providing them with safe haven, food and supplies, medicines and healthcare.
These people need our help today; please contact us or see our 'Donating & Contacting' page for details of where to send your donation.
Many thanks in anticipation.

I'm sure like us, you could not fail to be moved by the pictures and information coming out of Ethiopia and Somalia at this time.
Please help aid the crisis by donating to either
Both these charities are on the ground, running feeding centres and medical projects and your donation will go DIRECTLY to helping children and families.
Thank you.

We could not achieve our aims and objectives without YOUR help. Please take a look at our current appeals and get in touch!
